I can't tell you how excited I am to be announcing the other runner-up from the Meet Your Maker 6v6 Dominion Forge Contest. I am so excited that I just had a bit of an, err, accident, which has resulted in my fingers getting rather sticky (Okay, that's pretty gross Duck). But seriously, I spilled some coffee while writing this and my fingers got sorta sticky from it, not sure what dastardly deeds you guys were picturing. Anyways, it is my pleasure to announce to you that Sticky Fingers by Xinshu is our first runner-up!
Sticky Fingers is an asymmetrical dominion map set among the debris of a collapsed orbital elevator. The map provides for some interesting and organic geometry which makes for some exciting vehicle action as well as some useful callouts. It's been a while since most of you have heard anything from this contest. Submissions have been closed for almost two months, and we apologize for the lengthy judging process. There were a few hiccups in our planning as well as some time conflicts between the judges. However, we were committed to showing off the best of the best in terms of Dominion maps in Halo 4 and we are finally going to be doing that over the next few days. Without further ado, I present to you Typhoon by DUN3Z, the third place winner of this contest.
Typhoon is a linear-style Dominion map centered around a shipwreck which houses the Bravo base. The map supports loads of great offensive and defensive options to players, all housed within a fairly simple and easy to understand layout. Community "Meet Your Maker" Dominion Forge Contest

Many of you likely remember the Meet Your Maker Forge Contest. The contest was spearheaded by 343Industries.org and was supported primarily by The Halo Forge Epidemic YouTube Channel. The task was to create a map designed for 4v4 Infinity Slayer, the game mode which forms the backbone of the Halo 4 multiplayer suite. Over one hundred forgers from around the community submitted their creations. Three extremely talented forgers spent some time in the limelight shining on the winning maps, several other forgers earned some well-deserved attention for their own creations, and far more still received detailed feedback on their creations from the contest judges.
