Implementing a warthog part into the map would make it more unique.. and therefore making gameplay more enjoyable but I think It really isn't worth your time moving everything just for lighting. With the name like City Of Grey it matches the location of where you have placed it.... KEEP THE MAP WHERE IT IS !

Never really noticed any lighting problems when playing CoG.
I prefer the second banner.

I'm probably just going to relocate it into another part of the water just to get rid of the lighting glitch. Also, the beach wouldn't make sense if it was on the island. And I was talking about the banners.

  • Overlook (tournament style race)
  • Some linear flood map that may have changed canvas.
  • Spacebound GP (GP style race)
  • A 4v4 competitive map on forge island.
After that I won't be forging much for a while due to exams. I hope to get all of these finished by the beginning of April.

There's not really an official linear Flood gametype. Their movement speed depends on how you want the map to play. I prefer fast paced Flood gameplay so I'm using a sprinting Flood mod as my canvas.

If that's what you want to use, you'll find the gametype as part of a compilation in the gametype section of the map library. It's called Flood 2.0 or something.

I've had mixed results with setting the teams on trait zones. I got a trait zone to drop shields and apply damage boost that only affected humans, but when I tried to set one up to make flood invulnerable it didn't work on them. Keep in mind, I have a first gen Xbox, it's really old and sometimes it just glitches out and acts weird for no reason so I'm never sure if the problems I run into are actually in game or just error based.

Drawing designs out for a Competitive map (likely 4v4 or 5v5) that has a static train as a map feature. It's name shall be "Inertial Ski" - that's what a Mag Lev train is after all, but there's a secret in the name ;) The map is loosely based off of Express, a Black Ops II map that features a train.

Obviously CoD maps rarely ever work out in Halo - so I took what seemed okay and modified it to my preferences:

This drawing didn't include the cover necessary in the center - I also only drew one side and scanned/copied the other in for you guys. Likely my first task will be building the train (seen above as the pill-looking objects). Zandril's tutorial about making trains on his channel gave me the inspiration. I'm not sure when this will be forged on or released, but it'll likely be in the summer time.
