I remember Bungie casually saying destiny would be an FPS sometime ~a year ago, and practically all the sources aggregate on it being an FPS MMO.

So, I have a feeling there will still be an FPS shooter component that is complemented by a persistent MMO world. The two will interact seamlessly. I can't wait for Sunday. I am starting to get a nice tingling sensation/chills whenever I start to think about it.
