Vermin is an entirely Asymmetric room based map that takes large influence from the Halo: Combat Evolved map, Rat Race. It is fairly smaller, and the corridors and Rooms are far less open and are no longer subject to drawn out flat sightlines. combat and map movement are much more fluid and predictable from the removal of the teleporters, and the side of the original with the Active Camo has bee opened up and is now it's own large chamber. I thoroughly enjoy playing this map, and I'm not really sure if it's my best map, but it's definitely one of my personal favourite builds.

Blue Spawn (Main Chamber):

The Main chamber of Vermin is large, with multiple levels to fire down from. typically, this room sees combat from higher levels to a lower level, but each level has an appropriate level of ease to flank. the lowest level is a corridor to yellow and holds no tactical significance, except for its fast access to the rocket launcher. The middle level is a highly contested area and is used to control the blue side for fast rocket launcher control. The highest level is a separate chamber connected to red spawn. Blue team initial spawn is on a mid level platform between lower and middle platform.

Red Spawn (Split Chamber):

Red Spawn area links up to the highest area of blue, and acts as an antechamber to Yellow. It also connects to the lower entrance of Blue via a small and tight "vent" (Cyan). This area is quite a lot less combat heavy than Blue usually, so can be used to flank the upper area to Blue.

Yellow Lower Chamber:

Yellow chamber connects to lower Blue and the upper tunnel via a gravity lift. rocket launcher spawns in yellow.

Cyan Vent:

Cyan vent is a tight area that is cramped and accessible through a jump up and drop down in Red Spawn. The shotgun spawns here. Also, grenades can be thrown in from Yellow and launch the shotgun down.

Purple Tunnels:

The Purple tunnels are the highest points on the map and are accessible from Yellow and top Blue. active camo and overshield can be found up here.

Power Weapons:
Rocket Launcher: 0 spare magazines, 180 second respawn.
Shotgun: 0 spare magazines, 150 second respawn.
Brute Shot: 2 spare magazines, 150 second respawn.
Sentinel Beam: 150 Second Respawn.

Power Ups:
Active Camo: 180 second respawn.
Overshield: 180 second respawn.

Other features:
On this map I included the features of the original Rat Race, the ability to shoot down the the power ups, I did this by sitting them on pallets and setting physics to normal.
