On the H1, H2, H2A, H3 hoppers? No.
H4 hopper? Yes.

It's also worth noting that the "Hoppers" launching with the game are gametype based, rather than game based.

So some matches you'll have no descoping and sprint, some matches will have dual wielding and some matches will have a 3 shot pistol readily available... all within the same matchmade lobby.

It is said that variety is the spice of life.

It's gonna be like this if you play for example BTB - Three votes or four:

Halo 2: Headlong - Halo 3: Sandbox - Halo 4: Ragnarok - ...

Then the engine for the picked game will load and you're going to play it. Awesome!

It's actually been confirmed that there will be game specific playlists as well here. https://twitter.com/Brav/status/476577398536683521

Is anyone else waiting with baited breath to see if precision forging returns? And if modern (H reach & H4) forge mechanics will be applied to H2 & H3? Example: floating blocks and merging etc...
There's no doubt that modern forge mechanics will return to H2A since it's built off a new engine. And I personally have a feeling that by "forge tuning" with Halo 4, it may include a button binded for precision editing (precision editing IS in Halo 4, however some idiot developers didn't bind/forgot to bind the button for it). They also mentioned improving upon Halo 3's forge but it was nothing specific. Fingers crossed though.

Good news all around! Could there possibly be more to the H2A maps like Coagulation that could be foregable (think forgeworld)?
Also, could you elaborate on the precision editing in H4 being there? I've been AFK from my 360 for a few months, and when i left it was still tragically absent :(

I don't want to speculate but since Coagulation was confirmed recently to be a remastered map, it's possible it may be a base for forging (whether there's an area outside the map or not). And sadly, no you still may not use precision editing legitimately in Halo 4 for 360. Basically it's in the game engine but no button (which was the Left Thumbstick in Reach) was assigned to precision editing.

*Precision Edit was binded to holding in the left stick under the standard control scheme of reach

In that case, do you think they will resolve this issue with the port? It would be a crime for them not to now, seeing as they claim to listen to the community (I still believe) and its already in the code.

I can't know all the answers but I agree that it would seem highly illogical for them not to, considering they did say they were making adjustments to the current forge modes.

Also, WARHOLIC is compiling a list of suggestions for updating forge in Halo 3/4 in the Master Chief Collection here:
