[Sep 11, 2013] CTG Just-For-Fun Lobby: Classic BTB (The Psycho Duck)

Background:
Hey guys, welcome back to the Competitive Testing Group or CTG for short. We just had our first testing lobby last Wednesday, with our next one to be held for Wednesday after next. As promised, this is the intermittent "fun" lobby. My plan is to put up polls in all of the lobby recaps to decide the content for the next fun lobby, as well as the player count for the next testing lobby.

Details:
To start the fun lobbies off, though, I thought we'd dive in with some classic finished BTB maps in Halo 4. This includes refined versions of some dev-maps, as well as some well-liked forge maps. We will be using ideal BTB game modes with no infinity ordnance and no personal loadouts.

Rules:
Just bring a microphone, and be ready to play some fun, but competitive BTB matches. If you are not on my friends list already, please send me a message on Xbox Live asking for an invite.

Count me in. I'm always up for some BTB done right. Any chance of getting Mombossa in the map selection? I played it once in testing with you and Shoe and it was quite fun, but haven't played it since.

Would anyone be opposed to this lobby being pushed back a day? A few things have come up, and that time would be preferable to myself and a few others. The lobby would start at the same time, just on Wednesday. Is that okay with everyone?

And yes, we could probably play Mombasa, although I'm not proud of that map.

Okay, by general consensus (both within this thread and elsewhere), the lobby has been pushed back exactly one day.

Recap is posted here. Thanks for coming everyone, I know there were a few hitches but it was still fun! And again, Godzilla, we were just playing for fun. You had plenty of games where you did really well, and even the games where you didn't do so well it didn't matter. Don't get too worked up over it, it's just a game.
