I am Dana or Duck. I became active in the forge community in 2009 and began running map testing and feedback groups in 2010. In early 2012, I became the core map feature host for TheHaloForgeEpidemic on YouTube. Since then, I have made an effort to bring more intellectual and informative commentary to forge topics on YouTube. I helped create this website in late 2012 and ran THFE up until its untimely demise in September of 2015. In 2013, I became a Community Cartographer where I identify, select, and prepare community-created forge maps for matchmaking integration. I was invited to 343 Industries in Kirkland to test Halo 5's forge mode and develop a BTB map which shipped as part of the Battle of Shadow and Light update for that game. I also ran the ForgeHub YouTube team for the first several months following Halo 5's release.
Today, I test games at Microsoft and administrate this website. I am a level and multiplayer design hobbyist, community manager, engineer, graphic designer, video producer, commentator, writer, and musician.
