I'm just gonna pull my list from the "first games you ever played" topic, because they were also my favorite.

I could throw in a lot of games, on systems like Gamecube and Gameboy Advance, but I never really did much gaming until I came across a PS2 and the following games:

These are the games I had the most fun on as a child these bring back good memorys of coming home from school and putting these in my ps2/gamecube/xbox/etc

Best games? Well for the early 2000's I can only say the Metal Gear Solid trilogy, Crash Bandicoot which was shortly followed a few years later by Golden Eye on a friends N64 and finally Halo.

Spent so much time on it. Dunno what Chaos Lord the heroes are up against right now though.

Also completed every single quest in Free Runescape except the Dragon, because my friends decided to log in to my account and sell all my armour. Varrock Cult Devil and that silver sword you get, mmm.....

I just replayed Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie, and they still hold up as some of my favorite games.

Timesplitters 2 and timesplitters future perfect, most definitely.
Along with Geist, Super Mario Sunshine, Halo, Psy Ops, and Deus Ex on PC wayyy back.

Back in the day, when you were all still just a sexy thought in your dads groin, I was playing classics like the original Civ, Simon the Sorceror, Roadkill, Jaguar XJ220, Road Rash and Cannon Fodder on my Amiga; and Megaman, Super Mario Bros., TMNT, Top Gun, etc on the NES.

Aye man, it was awesome, I really enjoyed dark cloud 1 as well, fell in love with it when it was on the demo disk that came with the ps2
