Salazar or 2alazar is an inverse symmetrical 2v2 map forged on Impact. After failing to memorise a Shakespearean sonnet at some time early in the morning, the caffeine kicked in and I became entranced by the letter S. I stared at it for a while in Halocustom's very own shoutbox and then proceeded to take a look in the map archive at Psychoduck's 'S'. I decided that a design could be built off the letter by having the 'curves' on the s ramp up to elbows which overlooked pits in this neat kind of dual atrium design.
The design itself encourages players to gain control on the elbows and then drop down into the pits to escape or collect one of two power weapons that drop spawn. Spawning is very predictable but very difficult to actually exploit due to the way the map is segmented. Players who want to try and move on spawning players have to be aggressive and lose their positions, and yet positions are hard to control in the first place. This element of the maps design encourages circular flow and further compliments its size by creating easy to find encounters that can still be avoided by smart players.

This is my first 2v2 and fourth small team design. If anyone has any feedback I'd be really interested in hearing not only for the sake of this map but also for my own learning experience.
Slither in for a looky here.

Not many people actually download maps and then go and write up feedback. People can give some feedback from screenshots though, i.e people who have seen enough good maps can immediately identify problems etc.
