Welcome to Traverse!
Traverse is a 2V2 map created by Behemoth.
The map is built on Ravine, and Behemoth has done an outstanding job of forging a beautiful and dynamic playspace, incorporating original forged geometry and natural elements together into a great looking and great playing map. I've played the map multiple times now and I have to say it's one of my favorite Doubles map that I've ever played on.


Even after only one game on this map, I was able to communicate callouts to my teammate (who happened to be a person I had never even played with before) and effectively move around the map to locate and destroy the enemy team. The gameplay of the map does not...

Hey everyone, welcome back to another exciting map spotlight!
This time it's an asymmetrical 2V2 map.

ThrowinSomeBows has been well known around the halo communities for a while now, and he's brought us another great map with his creation Entity.

Entity plays great with 2V2 Slayer and KOTH, as well as supporting all other gametypes.
Not only has "Bows" created a dynamic, interesting, and balanced 2v2 map, but he has also
utilized a cool trick to bypass the lighting glitches that can sometimes occur during Forge.
To do this, he causes parts of the map to spawn in 1 second into the game, which makes them
skip the "Generating Lighting" part as the map loads. (Correct me if I'm wrong here, lol.)

Indie Anthias has been well known in the past for doing a great job on remake maps, and he's done it again with this excellent recreation of Ghost Town. This map is about as accurate as it can get without changing the textures of the pieces, and it plays great too!

Depending on your preference, you might want to load this up with a gametype set up for more classic style play. But during the games I've had on this map with H4's gameplay, I did not feel that any of the new elements damaged the map. Jetpacking adds a new twist to the gameplay of this classic, as you can now hop from ledge to ledge in ways that we're previously impossible. It's a...

Customgamers, rejoice! For behold, the classic gametype Cat & Mouse has returned!!!

For those of you who may not have been around back in ye olden classic custom days,
Cat & Mouse is a very simple gametype, played on Valhalla in Halo 3.
(Not to be confused with Tremor & Mouse, or Tremor Blast :p)

In this gametype, 2 Zombies are the "Cats." They pilot Wraiths.
The humans are the "Mice" and they drive mongooses and try to survive.

In this Halo 4 version of the gametype, the Wraith is allowed to use its main gun.
However, there is an honor rule - the mice are NOT allowed to board and attack the Wraith.The objective of the game is survival. If someone breaks this rule, they should be booted from the party.

We all owe our thanks to VICIOUS VICE for recreating this classic gametype for us all to enjoy.

I finally had the privilege of playing some of PA1NTS's maps last night in my recurring custom game session known as TSCGNP.​
I was extremely impressed by the creative layout he has come up with in this map.​
It is beautifully forged and interesting to navigate and play. One might even say I want to have sexia with exia. (Blame my writers for that joke.)​
