oh sorry i skipped over that part. In early developement (according to the 343 sparkcast) the turret actually followed its enemies.

Yeah... that is why it is no longer in the game. They also had a promethian teleport ability (which is still preseant in mods on Harvest).

yeah I now it just that if the watcher seeked me out of cover with some one on the high ground

Its only extra feature that autosentry doesn't have is its ability to catch grenades, so yeah it could work

I like the idea but that should be its own AA. Redirecting grenades (or objects) could be really good but only on its own.
