Praelium (version 1.0) - A competitive map good for 1v1, 2v2, and 4v4.

Hello gentlemen. I'm happy to present my first competitive map on Ravine. I started on this map about 2 weeks ago with two other maps when I had nothing else to do because my internet crapped out.

This map is asymmetric and can play 4v4 or lower.

This map is still a work in progress so nothing is set in stone.

Weapons

- Rocket Launcher (x1)
- Sniper Rifle (x1)
- Energy Sword (x1)

Amazing map! Plays very well with team games, with fairly good flow. One minor problem I've noticed throughout the many times I've played it is that the area behind the Scattershot (gold or orange I believe) did not see much use. Perhaps you could move the scattershot farther down, drawing people to fight for it as well as the sniper and rocket. Downsizing is also an option. Overall, a VERY fun map. And Harry is a beast!

I've noticed that issue with Gold. I'll be doing something about that shortly.

This map is asymmetric and can play 4v4 or lower. Being room-based, Praelium has 4 main rooms. These would be Red, Blue, Gold, and Green. Encounters happen everywhere in the map but most of the interesting and fun firefights happen...

Major Update

- Reforged Gold base. This is because it was sort of cut away from the rest of the map before making it underutilized. Now, Gold is a transition from Red to Blue and is no longer unused.

- Removed Dominion railings that were for jumps. Now, the jumps no longer look forced and now appear as if part of the map.

- Placed a weak anti respawn zone at Blue. Players were spawning there far too much.

- Some aesthetic changes.

- Removed the DMR and Shotgun.

- Shortened Red hall that leads to the bridge.

- Made the map compatible with other gametypes. These would be Extraction, KoTH, and Oddball.

Major Update

- Made some changes to Gold. Added an extra route from Blue tunnel to Gold.

- Changed the walls of Green.

- Spawning has been refined...again.

- Map is no longer meant for 4v4. Praelium is now for 1v1 and 2v2 games. This is because the map is under-scaled for 4v4 creating a lot of spawning issues.

- Because the map is now for 1v1/2v2, weapons have been replaced. The power weapons are now a Railgun and a Sniper.

MAP UPDATE

- Assault Rifle added to the map.
- 2 Frag Grenades added to the map.
- Only the Railgun spawns at the start of a match. The rest of the weapons spawn later on.
- Thruster Pack added.
- Railgun now has 0 spare clips.
- A LOT of aesthetics added.
- Rock wall that connect Red and Blue has been replaced with a Forerunner door.
- Ramp at Blue tunnel shortened.
- Shmeefs. Can you find them?
