This thread is where we, the community, can talk about gameplay hazards in maps and how to use them. This is mainly to create a place of ideas to share, but can be for tutorials for the newbs.
Here are some ideas for hazards:
-routes on the edge/shroud of a building over a far drop of to the streets/water
-toxic waste(let's say a Chernobyl flood map)
-lava
-spinning saw blades(sounds like fun! anyone like Metalica?)
-backyard bar-b-ques(don't eat the burgers 'til they cool, it's just common sense)
-flooded electric plant(supercharged, motha' f*cka'!)
-octopus(I've seen enough hentai to know where this is going...)
-an arrow(I used to be an adventurer like...)
-based god
-b0ss
-giant blender of doom and quake
