Hey, new member of HaloCustoms! In this thread I explain *everything* you need to know about this site. From Customs to Forums, from Profile Settings to... "Go on with it!" Alright, alright...

On top you can see six categories. Easy. What happens if you click on them?
HOME BUTTON : The "home button" takes you to the frontpage of the site. It's a mixture of news, contests and cool stuff, so go check it out! The newest status updates - including yours!! - are on the right side so everyone can see them.
FORUMS : All forums are setteled here. From "Custom Games Discussion" to "General Discussion" is everything there! I prefer the "Forge Discussion" forum as you can see what people are currently working on and get some inspiration. What are you waiting for? Have some good discussions! Also includes the mini version of the shoutbox.
MAPS : The core of HaloCustoms. Without any maps it wouldn't be possible to host and join custom lobbies, right? Check out maps from all over the world or even post your own one! Don't forget to read the map posting rules, though. Much effort into your map post brings you more attention!
One the left side you see all kinds of different genres of custom games, the most active forgers and the best maps! On top you can choose between "Most Downloaded", "Best Maps", "Newest Maps" and "Latest Updates".
SHOUTBOX : Discuss, Shout, Post... You basically can do everything you want to except for posting Porn. You get me what I'm trying to say.
There are cool links on top of the shoutbox!
CUSTOMS : Create your own custom lobby or join others! If you want to join a certain lobby hit the "RSVP" button on the right - YES, the green cyrcle! - and read the post carefully (Maybe the author gives you hints how to join; if not, wait until he/she/it invites you).
If you create your own lobby make the post look awesome, describe what you're going to play and how to join! Happy playing!
MEMBERS : Search for members that you know from Xbox Live. Search for members who you want to talk to. Stalk members. Stalk members!

We got the six buttons on the left, but what's with the three on the right?
"INSERT NAME HERE" BUTTON : Slide over your name. You get a lot of options what you can do next. The most important ones are "Contact Details", "Personal Details", "Your News Feed" and "Your Profile Page". What looks confusing at the beginning is actually pretty simple. You get used to it.
"CONVERSATIONS" BUTTON : Head over to your conversations! Private and direct. Create a new conversation with any member(s) you want to. A small blue number is showing up if somebody messaged you!
"ALERTS" BUTTON : Basically you get an alert from everything: If you somebody liked your post, if somebody replied to a thread you replied to, if somebody started following you, etc. . A click on an alert brings you to it and/or gives you more information.

Have you even seen your profile yet?
HELP! : This button on the bottom of the site is pretty useful! If you need help with things that a normal member can't do message a staff member (For that go to "MEMBERS"; right side: Staff members).

- You can upload a profile picture via clicking on your current one
- On the left you see all stats from you such as messages, trophy points or maps
- Status updates!
- You also can view your maps, your recent activity and postings you made! (5 taps on top)
