I have a question, I tried to play a custom game with a guy but he did not have the map I wanted to play (it was one of my maps). Does the other player need to have that map in order to play it in customs?

If the map was made on a DLC forge canvas like Halo 3's Foundry or Sandbox, or Halo 4's Forge Island, everyone in the lobby must have the appropriate DLC to play.

so you are saying the other guy probably did not have forge island, makes sense. Thank you guys
