I have a knack for Call of Duty maps. Even though the actual game might be terrible (and trust me, MW3 was), the layout and detail that they provided is commendable. My favorite map in MW3 was Mission, and I think that its unique asymmetry can be used well.
Using the game's map compass picture as a 2D-map, I used Google Sketchup to reconstruct the map. Although it got mirrored, it's still a pretty darn accurate representation.
