All things require a mix of skill and luck. You can be very skilled at a game, but still have crap games if you aren't very lucky.
The answer is...luck. If that was skill you wouldn't have celebrated like that by punching the air and doing the Ogre 2 flick with your gun. But hey, upload more clips like that and maybe it could be skill
