Instead of the worthless Pulse grenade, 343 should have brought the fire grenade from Halo 3 into Halo 4 instead.

The reason, I think, why they didn't bring those back is because:
Flood (Halo 3) = Firebomb Grenades, No Flood (Halo 4) = No Firebomb Grenades
Brutes (Halo 3) = Spike Grenades, No Brutes (Halo 4) = No Spike Grenades
Also, they would have to balance the grenades with everything else new in Halo 4. Regardless, I still wish they would have made it into Halo 4. Those grenades were all awesome

Agreed. I just wish they put something that's more useful than the Pulse grenade.

It actually would have. The Promethean weapons were designed to get rid of the flood by disintegrating/burning the flood and corpses, which the Incendiary grenade would have done (similar to the incendiary cannon).

As much as I love the flame grenades there is nothing wrong with the pulse nades
It's pretty much a power drain that dosent stop vehicles

Power drains are far better than Pulse Grenades. Go back to Halo 3 and see for yourself

Using basic gametype modding (horizon gametype editor) you could give everyone a single pulse grenade and increase the blast radius or grenades within the gametype effectively simulating a power drain.

I meant non-modded Pulse grenades. On vanilla, they're just worthless.

Power drains are far better than Pulse Grenades. Go back to Halo 3 and see for yourself

yeah well pulse grenades are as powerful but they only drain power
in three pulses. the first is the strongest im pretty sure so if someone is coming
around a corner right as they turn chuck the nade on the ground on to them and they will lose 85-95
percent of their shield.

I actually kinda agree with Ninja, pulse are useful but really difficult to use. That being said they are the weakest of the three considering the difficulty of using the damn things.
