As far as I've seen from you two so far, is that you both lack the ability to debate and therefore I'm leaving with my final thoughts in my first reply. I take nothing back that I said, because all statements are justified in their context. Anyone can take a statement out of context and disect it. Neither took into consideration the couter points and explanations that were presented in my replies. This thread was never an appropriate lovation fir internet memes, and most people consider the usage of them as "joking" or as Jesus admitted to, trolling.

All you two are doing is singling one thing out and smashing it. Try taking the whole thing into consideration.
This is because a majority of your opinions have flawed logic and opinions we do not agree with and I'd rather not be spending my time nitpicking at every little point you two have mentioned. Furthermore, your apparent rage over us expressing our opinions is uncalled for, I did not expect to make enemies in this thread.

Then don't invalidate your own argument. If you're going to use the term constructive criticism, perhaps you should first look up what it means? What you're now describing is not constructive criticism. Even so, people have a right to their opinion. If someone thinks the map is "bullshit," that is their opinion and they have a right to express that criticism.

EDIT: Also, we are not taking anything out of context by quoting a small piece of your rant. We are just making it easier for you to see what we have a problem with without filling the page by quoting walls of text. Just because I only quote a small piece of it does not mean I did not read and understand everything you wrote.

I was trolling

Definition of trolling: submit a deliberately provocative posting to an online message board with the aim of inciting an angry response.

your apparent rage over us expressing our opinions is uncalled for, I did not expect to make enemies in this thread.

You should have expected this outcome with your admitance :p

I did not read and understand everything you wrote.
This is out of context my friend^ I could manipulate this more if I wanted to. What you did to my first reply WAS out of context man. Can't you see that? :slaphead:

It's not trolling if it's the truth.

I gave up, can't you see? I think you're blind, so why are you still posting ? :lmao:

These are all great examples of what you did to me that started this :(

You're right, that is out of context. What I quoted from your first post, however, was not.

I should say the same to you. If you've given up, then why have you followed that up with multiple posts?

Look, correct me if I'm wrong, but you and Buddy are the only ones who have replied to this thread that seem to have a problem with these "complaints" in lobbies. You've also become very defensive upon being presented with an opinion which differs from yours. Case in point: your first post. Maybe this "issue" isn't as big of a problem as you're making it out to be, and maybe you just need to learn to accept and deal with it better.

Also, thank you for taking my post ">implying I was trolling" out of blatant context. Why don't you take your own advice as I never took anything you have said out of context.

You hypocrite! lol man it's too easy now xD
Your response here seems to indicate you are "trolling" this discussion. Nothing I have said has been in any way, shape or form hypocritical. Thank you for showing us your true colors.

There are players who don't want to have fun at all. They just want to critisize, whether contructive or not. It seems to be all they want to do. Constant contructive critisism is not whatsoever okay, I don't care the circumstance. A player can give advice if they want, but if the forger isn't there, and the map is still very playable, then why are you still complaining? And when someone mentions the person doing this, they claim that they are not complaining, but simply helping. I just miss the old days, when it really didn't matter if the map was subpar or superb; people still found ways for it to be fun. Yes, if the map is outright terrible and not playable then I understand. But that's not the situation anymore.

Listen: I admit I shoulve used a different set of words for "constructive critisism" in the quote you guys used. But can't you see that the overall context of wht I was saying was for good purpose and trying to fix the problem? When jesus posted that gif I felt attacked... I'm sorry this escalated but thars what happened.

I don't really have much to say. My two cents about this has already been said by Debaytes and REMkings. If something is happening in the lobby that people are experiencing, then of course they're going to talk about it. If lag is happening, people will complain about the lag. If the map is bad/frustrating, people will say it.

You can't force people to choke down their words. It's not like insults are flying around. They're just statements of what's happening in the game. It becomes a problem when people are fighting/insulting each other. But if people are just saying out loud how they feel about the game, then there's not really anything wrong there.

I think the idea that everyone in the video game should shut up when what they're going to say isn't sunshine and rainbows is just stupid and arrogant. It is a video game after all. Things happen and people will talk about it.

I admit I can do some of these things too, and more and I won't deny it  though my epic personality makes up for it ;D jk but I do agree with you, it can be a downer and sometimes ruin a mood of a lobby, though I wouldn't know much about them anymore  what with work and DkS 2 being out I haven't been to a lobby in weeks :'D though work is mostly my reason cause really, I don't wanna rush home and have to get my Halo and all ready for a lobby an hour or whatever later when I usually just relax on the laptop for hours  (such as now cause there is nothing better to do at 2:30am :'D)

Well, I am also bothered by people doing this. Of course, saying "This thing should be there" or "You should replace that with that" is alright when the forger wants tips. But, it's really annoying when a person says "I hate this map", "This is stupid", and "I don't like minigames" in a minigame lobby. It even bothers me when people are talking crap to each other in the lobby. Even in HC, it bothers me. Once in a while, it's ok to troll a bit as a small joke. But, doing it repeatedly is a bit too far. Now, I'm not being a whiteknight, which some person called me 'cough' Jesus in Malibu 'cough'. I'm saying what's right, and what should be done. In this threa, there is an example of this. You may have worked it out, but it shouldn't happened in the first place. I hate it when people start arguing, call each other "stupid", and saying that someone said something wrong. Even though the knew what they said. Now, if the Halo community is liked this since the beginning, than I'm disappointed. I don't want this to be turned into a COD. Yes, I just compared the situation to COD. You may think that we are against them because of the squeakers. That's not the original case. We are against them because of their attitude. They are short tempered, rude, extremely loud, and the HQ of trolling of video games. Now, here's the thread you should have typed.

I think writing on my profile directing me to this thread could be seen as just as rude or disrespectful as any show of anger in a lobby. People are gonna rage, "Haters gonna hate".
Games don't cause anger, lag does.

Common gamer quotes, created to explain why we do the things we do.

Referring people to this thread for raging in a lobby, is like A doctor prescribing a comedy show boxset of DVDs to a depressed person and saying cheer up.

I appreciate what your saying, but going around and writing a link on someones profile like a internet Jehovah's witness will just annoy people.

Agreed. Although you and I both know that the causes of you raging has a whole lot more than just lag.
I do not rage, I merely indulge my Scottish heritage to express itself in a near sociopathic manner, often on irrelevant and "unimportant" matters, often because of my pessimistic yet wishful thinking attitude to the gaming world as a whole.

Besides, I am justified... usually :p
