Asymmetrical arena designed for Team Slayer, King of the Hill, and Oddball. Venom is a punishing design with a massive movement learning curve. The design is a unique combination of super open combat spaces and large amounts of vertical/indirect cover, allowing for huge cross map gun battles on the top levels and super sneaky flanks on the bottom level. Venom features all three power-ups (Overshield, Active Camouflage, and Speed Boost) with unique combat and movement options revolving around each power-up and its placement, and a wide variety of power weapons to ensure almost constant asymmetries in combat and multiple opportunities for huge plays per game.
Venom is a completely new design to the Halo series, and as such, combined with the asymmetrical nature of the design and resultant combat, will require an open mind to truly understand its competitive merit in tournament play.
