"Popular theory suggests the pylons of this structure act as conduits for an unseen energy in the surrounding area."

Chronos is a medium sized symmetrical arena map designed around 4V4 CTF. The map is divided into four equal color coded sections. Each base consists of an elevated platform with a large pillar in front. Gold side houses a Sniper near each base, while Green side holds an Active Camouflage. Green and gold both have bridges connecting the outer walkways to the central structure, where a Rocket Launcher can be found. The map is very open and has long sight lines, forcing players to always be aware of enemy presence on opposite sides of the map while also allowing them to drop to lower elevations for cover.

I had some hard times early on this map, but as time has gone on, it's evolved into one of my favorite custom maps. Matches always get super sweaty on here, and the layout promotes lots of different unique encounters.

I suck at reviews

Great map. Only thing I've noticed in playtesting is that the stairway from bottom green to top green is almost never used. I think it's because the staircase itself is at a 90 degree angle to the rest of the map, and it's a little jarring to completely stop your movement around the map in order to go up a floor. If anything, reconfiguring that area so that the stairways are angled at 45 or even 60 degrees respective to the circular motion of the map could help the flow in green. Other than that, I love this map.
