Hi...
I've been out of the Forge game now for about a year and a half, and this is my return project.
Psychoduck showed me his portfolio of Halo 3 maps, and it made me remember a terrible Halo 3 map I'd made ages ago (and it was actually dreadful). This is a re-imagining of that map. I'm hoping it's a large improvement over the old one since the old one was open and flat from one base to the other!
Anyway, it's rotationally symmetric and while I explained the layout to Psychoduck when planning it out, I compared it to Solace (don't leave, you haven't seen it yet!).
So, the screenshots;
Overview
Base Top - Same as Red, the icon is just different.
Base Middle - Same as blue...
View from Base Floor - Again, same as the counter base...
Open Corner - See? Red has a different icon.
View from Closed corner, across to open corner - or the lack of it...
Close up of the L.O.S blocker, and Sticky Detonator spawn - Same as Gold tower
Jump from Green to Yellow - OS Spawn.
So yeah, it's technically multi-level, symmetrical map.
The fastest flag route is direct across the middle. It's time at 32seconds from spawn, sprinting across the map, and returning to the score point. Other routes are longer and provide more cover / support.
It just needs a group of testers now...
