Insane54 suggested that we get a thread going for people to post TED talks. They're basically free lectures you can watch online and most of them are pretty interesting. I'll start with this one, which is about how your posture and body language can basically change your life.

Man I remember when I had to convince people TED was an awesome website and not just some weird guy I knew. I have several underseen threads on several forums filled with TED videos. I'll grab them and post em here when I have the time, but here's one of, if not my favorite TED talk, and it was the first one I saw (I think?).

Here's Don Norman, one of my personal heroes in the field of computer science, engineering, and usability. He wrote "The Design of Everyday Things", and is generally regarded as the #1 expert in terms of usability. I love how his mindset works, its a really short, fantastic talk:

ahh he's one of my favorite public speakers, that dude gets me jazzed for anything. he's up there with Degrasse Tyson and Sagan for me.
