The Philip Defranco forum used this website, zeemaps, as a way to catalog where it's members lived using the Google Maps interface. We could do the same if there's interest. Mods or Insane could make their own map on zeemaps for better control if they wanted to. This is just an example. There are a few customization options on the admin side of these maps. Stuff like bulk import (doubt that's needed), approval for all submissions, source to embed into html, etc.
But I wanted to add this to map out where all of us live, and how small our world really is (Or how big!)
