Recording Gameplay Help!!

So I'm planning on making a Game Night on Halo 4 for my YouTube channel, as well as a machinima series. My biggest problem at the moment is figuring out how to record it in the best quality without a capture card (I have no way to get one). All I need is a way to move Theater clips from my Xbox to my computer, can anyone help me?

Capture cards may be expensive my friend but they are well worth the money you invest ( just don't get a freaking Roxio.. for the love of god don't put yourself through that hell... ).

Why? What's hell about Roxio?

Lets say you want to through in some captions , music , pictures and a fair bit of clips for a funtage.. NOPE not with Roxio as the software decides to kill itself.. Just trust me on this one , I lived through the pain of having one.

Forever on Elgato!

Until I get a better upgrade PC or a next gen console , after that I think Ima try Avermedia game capture HD or the Live Gamer ( both record in 1080p ^.^ ).
