Party Banner Help Needed

Since I have no idea on how to use Photoshop, can anybody help me on how to make my banners appear to be professional rather than this?:

If you mean to make one yourself, I'd suggest downloading GIMP and reading up on some tutorials. I've found that a little GNA knowledge can come in handy in more ways than one, haha.

Otherwise, give us a little description and I'll try to whip something up for ya (y)

Use Inkscape. So much easier to use and as powerful as GIMP. I create all my halo customs and you tube stuff using inkscape

I use Photoshop because I'm just MLG like that. Althought I did start out with GIMP to learn most of the basics. Also, what about joker? lol

I want my banner to be cheesy as f**k, but I can't think of anything besides 'joker lol' and 'Hte cupcakes.' I was thinking of using MC Hammer and pinkie as the main theme of the party.
