Searching for resources to help me learn how to make maps, and found this site.

I ranked out on Halo 4 Spartan Ops, and am now playing wargames matchmaking (mostly big team slayer, but trying to branch out)
I joined friday night customs last friday and saw some of the work Shocktrooper and King Goldeneye have done, and want to learn more and get a chance to play on new maps that others have created.
Once I understand the process better, i plan to jump in and make a map of my own. I'm a design engineer by trade, working with 3d CAD in design automation, so the process is really interesting to me, and it is amazing what people are able to make. Hopefully I can contribute!
