Just a reminder to all CGNers, the CGNH video is still up and running. I have not made a video seeing I haven't really had a lot of submissions but yet this is a very simple and petite problem. How do we resolve this problem, well I'm glad you asked!!!!!!!
JUST DO THE FOLLOWING DURING OR AFTER THE CGN:
1. When you are playing a custom game with us during Spades N AZ CGN, and you do something epic, funny, or just plain WTF!!!!!!!!! then wait till the game has ended.
2. Once you are back into the pre-game lobby and waiting for Spades N AZ to start the next game, press start on your controller, go down to "Setting & Files", go all the way to the right to "File Browser" select it.
3. Go down to "Films & Clips" and select it.
4. Then go up one to "Temporary History" and press A or your controller.
5. This area is where all of your previous games you have played will be as long as you HAVE NOT turned of your console since you last played the game you are looking for will be.
6. Select The game you want to get the clip from and press Y while hovering over it. After doing this, it will give you the option to SAVE the film.
Now though you have saved the film, it is still not in a submissionable format. You will then need to, after CGN is over, go into theatre mode and review the film to scope out YOUR MOMENT and record it so you can section off everything else that happened in that game other than that one moment. It is a must to allow 10 seconds of footage, at least, before your "moment" and 10 seconds after as well.
Now once you have recorded your "moment" you will need to name & save your clip and then exit the film and return back to the pre-game lobby. From here is your final steps. Once your back into your pre-game lobby, you will need to upload your clip to your FILE SHARE. To do this please do the following:
1. Once you are back into the pre-game lobby, press start on your controller, go down to "Setting & Files", go all the way to the right to "File Browser" select it.
2. Go down to "Films & Clips" and select it.
3. Then select "Local Files" and here you will see a selection of Halo 4 maps. (should mainly consist of Impact, Ravine, Erosion, and maybe Ragnarok)
4. Select the map that your clip was filmed on and all of the films/clips you have ever saved or recorded on that map will show up in a list here.
5. Scroll through this list till you see your clip. Select your clip.
6. Once selected, press Y and another screen will show up giving you the option to "Upload to File Share". Select this option. Wait patiently, for this may take a bit depending on how large the file size is and depending on how fast your internet it. (it shouldn't take very long at all though, even considering)
Now that you have done all of this, it is time for the easiest, shortest, and last step. Either get on Xbox Live or Halocustoms.com and send me a message stating the following:
1. The gamertag you were playing with when you recorded this clip. (ex. LucidVivacity)
2. The name of the clip that you recorded and uploaded to your file share.
I know it seems like a lot of work, but trust me when I say this, it is nothing compared to what SolidSnake and myself go through to make these videos possible, and doesn't even get close to touching what Spades N AZ goes through just to host these amazing lobbies. So guys, help us out here by doing this for us. We are definitely wanting your submissions and are really looking forward to them. But until next time CGNers. Lucid out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
