Halo Clans, or Organizations opinions

I'm not too fond of clans. To me they just seem like a waste of time or, usually, a bunch of rage quitting try hard little kids. Not saying there aren't any cool clans out there. I just rather not have them in my opinion.

Sites like this eliminate the need for clans and don't require you to change gamertag, looks and logos like many clans do. The thing is, clans can work, they just need a reason to work

I can see why you would say that about clans, My honest opinion is I really don't care, but however if you didn't know I am in one myself, but bottom line with me is to support it. Clan purposes should be a benifit to making maps, or hosting quick custom games against other groups, now my purpose in mine I rather not say...
So we all know clans have many reasons they appear, but what is not seen is the actual reason they are made, what do you think may be the reason they are made?
