So I was looking at my Halo Waypoint stats and saw that medals are classified into tiers.
-Support (lowest tier)
-Kill
-Bronze
-Silver
-Gold
-Platinum
-Onyx (highest tier)
So I did a bit of research and found this, which tells you which medals are which tier. It is not essential to know this but I found it quite interesting.
