Cod tastes pretty damn good when cooked, at least that's my opinion.

Anyway, yes, cod is a tasty fish, and it tastes delicious when breaded, deep fried, and served with chips (fries).

Cod is really good deep fried. Oh my god is it good deep fried.
Cod meat is white and flaky, and has a mild flavor. It's definitely not among the tastiest of fishes, it's a bit bland if it isn't prepared right. I like it best in a soup, like in a Manhattan or New England style chowder, or batter dipped and fried, or broiled in the Mediterranean style, like I had when I went to Barcelona, Spain back in 2001.

God, I haven't had fish and chips in far too long. The moist, buttery cod with the delightfully flaky crust... with tartar and fries on the side...

the way I look at it is: cod is better than anuses. So if you know how good anuses are, then cod will be better than that.
