Is anyone else getting this annoying thing where links don't work? I click on a user's profile, I stay on the same page, I try to like something, it doesn't show up, I click 'post reply,' nothing comes up. I have to refresh the page to be sure that my post comes up.

We've been wanting it for a while. Last I checked, I think Insane54 said it was a matter with the formatting, or perhaps the nature of the Xenforo forum framework (apparently fairly incompatible). Might want to confirm that later - haven't looked into it myself.

We should be able to do it, it's just a matter of prioritizing at the moment. We're slightly behind on XenForo upgrades, so I think that's the next tech step. Horizontal rules shouldn't be difficult per se but I'd like to do something more full featured than just tunneling in an HTML <hr /> line

Three things I'd like to mention.

1. It'd be nice if staff picked maps could be shown in the original location as well as the 'staff picks' section in the map database. Though I am honored to have my map among these picks, it has lost its position as the #1 most downloaded flood map and as the #2 top flood map because it was moved out of the flood category. Because of this, the map's movement into 'Staff Picks' may ultimately be detrimental to my efforts to publicize it.

2. I love the changes that were made to the website after the overhaul, but I do feel the need to address my opinion on the mobile version. I'd rather have the ability to view the original desktop version of the site on my phone like I used to be able to do. It's 2014, and mobile devices now are perfectly capable of rendering sites like these, either through wi-fi or a cellular network, with no issues. There's no need to restrict mobile device users to a limited version of the site. Also, the mobile version does not work smoothly- the page keeps "teleporting" and shifting up and down randomly. It's hard to scroll, read, or click when the page is all over the place like that. Text often does not show up correctly- for example, the entire maps section on mobile devices is straight-up broken; the titles and information are presented vertically, as there has not been enough room allocated horizontally. Additionally, there are some places where lines of text go through/overlap one another.

3. A pikachu avatar? Are you kidding me? Have you gone Insane?

Hey guys, what about an ironic emote?

Seriously, it would be so cool since people don´t *see* the face of the person who just trolled. Then, very often, this person needs to explain that he/she trolled... That´s kinda bad. With trolling I don´t really mean trolling, but just a joke or an ironic shout, you know?

I know we have some of them, but in my opinion they´re not satisfying... :carlton::awesome::wakko::laugh:

We need something like (Where you *exactly* know: "Hey, this guy isn´t serious."):

(Probably the most ironic emote on ever used)

So much yes to all of this. Especially the "teleporting" and "rubberbanding" on the mobile version (iPhone 4 for me) is just plain awful and atrocious. I would like to have a desktop version of the site for mobile too.

Why can't we upload mp4 files to HC? Would be pretty useful...

I'm curious: What kind of formats can we upload? I know png, but maybe there's more?
I think technically you might be able to upload mp4 files, actually, but they'll quickly hit the maximum file size. That's the issue with most video uploading that you'll come across.

I believe just about all standard formats are uploadable, particularly text and picture formats due to the fact they won't hit the size cap like above.

Halocustoms.com, for all your file hosting needs

What's the problem with sharing via youtube? Or do you want to share the uncompressed file?

Thanks! So what is the limit then?
