First things first, this is my second full attempt at a 4v4, ever.

Nero is a symmetrical 4v4 built with competitive play in mind, the intended gametypes are 5-flag, TS and KOTH. Nero is laid out in a distinct 'Y' shape emerging from top mid which holds a 60 sec OS. The prongs of this Y are the most powerful positions on the map, blue and red base extending out to have snipe platforms, while gold has access to the longest sightlines on the map. From these areas the map extends into an outer circuit. The map's main inspirations come from both Sanctuary and Zealot.

As mentioned before the bases extend out to have snipe platforms, bearing resemblance to the pit while being a bit more connected to the rest of the map. Both these platforms hold 90 sec/no spare clip snipes while a spare ammo box lies on the balcony between them.

Red court is exposed to the power positions, but can still offer quick routes. 120 sec/1 spare clip rockets resides in gold basement.
