Halo:CE OpenSauce - v3.1

With Halo 2 Vista shutting down, fret not PC gamers, a new mod for Halo:CE is on the forefront. For those unfamiliar, these guys take Halo:CE down to the source code and unleash a wave of awesome.

Wait, so is it an upgrade mod of sorts, or is it them saying, 'Hey! We've got the source code!' I know nothing of mods

 

it's an upgrade mod. Not sure how much of it is from the source code or if it's just deep rooted modding.

Either way it's pretty slick to see what they've managed to do to that engine.

 

Oh man, this brings back memories. Good to see Custom Edition is still live and well to this day. Also, farewell H2V, I had some good times there as well.

 

Yay! I'm smart enough to hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete !!!!!!!

 

I wonder if this will include or get soon after a multiplayer component. Those mods in online servers would be an intense amount of fun to mess around with.

Now this is something I can participate in. Glad to see this project getting so far I remember when they first started.
