News Halo 5: A Hero Reborn

343 put out a new vidoc for Halo 5 today titled "A Hero Reborn". The team behind Halo 5 talks about Halo 4 as a success, but also talks about some of the challenges of making a new Halo game. You can watch it below.

Some highlights include:

• A scoped BR at 0:41
• Some shots of new playspaces at 2:33 and throughout
• A funky Spirit dropship on what appears to be Sanghelios at 2:38
• Something really big and purple at 3:50
• A concussion rifle at 4:23
• Some gold-skinned UNSC ground vehicles at 9:50 including a gungoose and a gauss hog
• A pile of lekgolo worms forming into a hunter at 11:07
• And, of course, a massive wart on Bonnie Ross's forehead visible throughout the video

What do you think about the vidoc? There is certainly a lot of footage of new art assets and environments which caught my eye.

 

The background music in the beginning is reversed, super weird (just some piano notes).

Maybe there's a hidden message somewhere (morse code, reverse audio etc.)?

In all seriousness though, this actually looks pretty ok. Still not hopping on the hype train but I'm definitely getting a little interested in the campaign.
