If you need a recap of the events of this competition thus far, you can do so in one of two places. The Contest Bracket shows the progression of each map through the rounds, while the now locked voting threads show all the discussion, votes and drama that went along with it.

Due to some eligibility issues, Group 5 of Round 1 of the Minigame Contest has been reset, with new maps Scorpion Dominance and Free Your Friends. Unfortunately, all votes have been reset in order to make this change. So before you resubmit your votes for your favorite maps, be sure to check out the two new competitors!
Unless you've been living under a rock, you know about our ongoing minigame competition, the quest for the penultimate minigame. There were 32 submissions, but only one can be crowned champion, and win the title of "The Best Halo 4 Minigame". There are, however, real prizes to be had for our fair contestants.

Well the time has finally arrived, the Get A Clue Forge Contest results are in! As a Clue enthusiast, I was lucky enough to be handpicked by Master Debaytes as one of the contest judges, and i can tell you it was a hoot to participate. Playing submissions nightly in Clue lobbies, and genuinely having a great time in the process. Many fantastic clue maps were submitted, it became quite tough to decide an order near the end. So without further adieu, here are your results!
Greetings, Halo Customs.
We are aware that your infatuation for a good competitive game in Halo runs deep as the blood in your veins. Nourishing that need for intense competitive fighting is something that we try and support here. In this game, I can say that nothing feels quite as good as landing your virtual boots on a new platform, taking a swift look around, and readying your rifle to fight whatever your foes throw at you.
But that's not what this is. Give it time. That will come. For now, lets look at the lighter side of Halo, the part that was never intended to exist in the first place. Lets have a look at Halo minigames. Yes...
Hello everyone, welcome to the front page of HaloCustoms; Where Cool Stuff Happens (that's our new motto, as of about five seconds ago, super official). So, what cool stuff is happening today? Well, I'll tell you! A bunch of cool maps which didn't quite make it to the top of the pile of submissions for Meet Your Maker are getting some attention!
You can be sure that you'll be seeing several of these maps getting more attention in the future. They're all pretty awesome, and just so you can see for yourselves we'll be hosting some community playdates in conjunction with 343i Community Forum. Come out and play some of the hidden gems of the contest and talk to the winners, the judges, and the other people who submitted maps to the contest. You can find these playdates listed below.
Unless you've been living under a... wait, never mind. I like waffles, do you like waffles? Yeah, I thought so. You know what's kind of like waffles? Meet Your Maker winners, of course!
Over the last month and a half, the judges have put in literally hundreds of man hours into judging the roughly 100 maps submitted. We are very confident that we have chosen the best maps to win. Of course, there were plenty of other great maps submitted too, some held back by minor flaws and others which just couldn't quite compare with the level of awesomeness displayed by the three winners. Because of this, we'll be rolling out another video before too long highlighting some of the other noteworthy maps. We look...
Hello everyone, your favorite feathered friend is here again to present the first of the three winners of the Meet Your Maker Infinity Slayer Forge Contest! I'll keep it brief, as I think I cover everything in the video. Thanks to everyone who's submitted a map so far, stay tuned for the next runner-up tomorrow!
So, what do you think of Black Site? Who will win the contest? Place your bets in the comments!
Unless you've been living under a rock (and not a "rock, small" either, I'm talking a seastack), you've hopefully heard of the "Meet Your Maker" Forge Contest by now. It's a 4v4 Infinity Slayer contest sponsored by groups around the Halo community, held by THFE and 343industries.org.
Well, us judges have been working hard to pick the top three maps from the contest, and the time for them to be revealed is nigh. However, we aren't ready to roll the final results out quite yet. So, in the mean time, feast your eyes on this video which highlights several of the ~100 maps submitted to the contest. Thanks to everyone who has participated, we look forward to sharing the results with you at the end of the week!
So recently, a good number of members in the Halo Customs community have been introduced to this crazy game called Clue. To celebrate the triumphant return of one of my age old favorite custom gametypes on Halo, I’ve decided to host a forging contest dedicated to expanding the word of Clue out to the community.
For those of you who have no idea what I am talking about, Clue is a custom gametype that dates back all the way to the early days of Halo 3. It was originally created by TenderBisquit, the mastermind behind the Ghosts of Onyx forging community. The game has been played from Halo 3, through Halo Reach, and even now in Halo 4 on...
Howdy doody there all you halo customers!!
Boy oh boy have i got some news for you!
As you all may or may not recall, a while back I shared with you this exciting flood contest that was being hosted by the lovely THFL. (Not to be confused with the legendary THFE. They may have similar acronyms, but they are not the same, although they are both super great! yea!)
Well my sweaty impoverished friends, the news is that contest has come to a close!
The following is a video showcasing the top 3 winners of the contest.
Hello everyone, I hope you're all ready to start forging, because THFE has partnered with Certain Affinity and 343i.org to bring you a 4v4 Infinity Slayer forge contest! Of course, HaloCustoms will be the perfect place for testing lobbies to be held for your maps, and for judges to hold judging lobbies later on.
To read up on all the details, you'll want to head on over to 343i.org here. You can find the highlights below, though. When you finish your maps, be sure to post them on HaloCustoms, and don't forget to use the site to host games to test your maps. Happy forging!
Insanmiac, the YouTube channel that functions as your number one destination for anything Flood-related, has recently held a contest that went by a name as convenient as it is macabre, the "Best of the Dead" contest. The long wait is now over!
After having received over 50 submissions and cutting it down to 7 maps that ultimately fought for the top spots, he has finally declared which three community maps he considered best in his first contest of many more to come.
Make sure to get your popcorn ready and don't restrain from holding your mommy's hand in case things get a little bit too intense for you; the maps shown on screen might just discomfort you with some frightening moments before you meet your demise! My advice is to turn down the lights, you probably don't want to draw the attention of Flood lurking on the street or in the mines...
Instructions on how to download the maps can be found in the description of the video...
