This was created as my second entry to the 2v2 map contest. It has been done with the building phase for a while and needs more testing to see what does and doesn't work with the spawns and weapons. This one follows the theme of Portal, although it is a bit cleaner looking due to available textures and object limit.
There are 3-4 semi open rooms surrounding a center hub with a number of connections in and out. I also played with the idea that there were a lot of glass/energy barriers separating you from shooting across map but allowing you visual lines of sight to find/flank the enemy with your teammate. I'm not sure how well that actually effects gameplay yet. There are also a few small interactive elements just for fun.
Weapons:
1x SPNKr Rockets : 180s
1x DMG Boost : 180s
2x BR
2x Carbine
2x SMG
2x AR
2x Magnum
4x Frags
3x Plasmas
1x Splinter
1x Launch Pad of DOOM!
4x Destructible Cameras (you monster)
5x Companion Cubes
1x Cake
The cake isn't a lie, but only winners get cake.
Currently there seems to be a bug with light sources defaulting to dynamic in custom games, causing areas far way not to be properly lit. This isn't hugely gamebreaking but keep in mind that is not intentional.
Please feel free to leave any feedback you may have.
