"This is truly a mini game you have to see to believe."
343industries.org weekly site wrap up.

Have you ever missed being able to send people through floors flawlessly, like Floor master Back in reach, well now you can with this new mini game made by Charles Stoot.

For those of you who don't know the concept of Floor Master or forget how to play, here is a quick recap. One player below was the Floor Master, once he went under a block, that block would disappear for some time. If you fell through a hole you would plummet to your demise. To win the game as a player above, you needed to keep yourself from falling down to the Floor Master below for the entire round. This game was one life and you had to end the game each round, due there being only one floor master on blue team.

In this version, same idea, the only difference are that, there are two directions to go, it's more than one life, and there is more than one floor master. Plus there is an object involved.

Specifications of Teams

1. If you spawn with the grid above you; you are the Floor Runners.

Objective: Safely bring back an artifact from the other end of the court to the end zone. In this case the artifact is an Oddball.

Notes: The green blocks with the green beam in the middle of the court is a safe zone. Watch out for the beams for they will delete the floors your standing on. The Gold beams on the sides are kill boundaries.

Scoring: 2 points for walking into the end zone.
1 point for throwing it into the end zone.
2. If you spawn and die right off the back.; you are the Floor Masters.

Objective: Stop the artifact from reaching the end zone, you need to create gaps in the floor to make the players below die.

Notes: The Gold beam on the far end of the court is a soft kill boundary.
"Working as a team by passing the ball, and communicating as Floor Masters will ensure that you will have a good chance of winning."

Note: This is that safe zone in the middle of the map.

Simply an amazing and exciting minigame! I can't wait to see what other ideas will branch off from it!

Here's my video review > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z9WRJ1Zuw9c
This is one of the most functional and genuinely involving minigames i have played on any halo, it goes beyond a usual minigame as teamwork and tactics are absolutely essential to prosper. The ball version is far superior to the sword version IMO, but grab both and be sure to compare them.
Just be prepared for some super competitive minigame action.
Knowing it's inspired by another idea does this mini game no harm. In fact that's how things get better. Inspired by Floor Masters from Halo: Reach, Charles's mini game Floor Runner is just a better version in my opinion. Once you get the hang of it, the mini game is not only enjoyable but competitive. With the defending team on top and allowed to sprint, things can get tough but you can actually use the Ricochet variant to it's full extent this way because it forces teamwork without losing any fun. A king of mini games.
A minigame very well executed. Requires a little bit of strategy on both teams parts. No mindless repetitive running to your possible demise. It stands out from other minigames in many ways.
Excellent mini game and a unique one at that. I love mini games that I can't comprehend how the game mechanics actually works and your map is a perfect example of that. Keep up the unique and interesting Mini Games Charles. :) Downloading now.
A really fun and enjoyable minigame, and to anyone that play's with me, knows that isn't my usual response to minigames . Great concept that I had the privilege of testing throughout it's development. Your a beauty Stoot.
I really enjoyed this map. It is challenging and unique. It can get quite intense for last second goals as well. The visuals are great, even though they are simple. Which gives it, to me at least, the impression that it doesn't have to try hard to be good.
Dear Stoot,

Great job on accomplishing the very best NOGUNS halo sports game I have ever played. Great job on making things very interesting , removing the ground right heath their feet! Maniacal! I like how team work is required and this makes scoring feel like sweet victory. When you are trying to score this game is at it's best, and avoiding death from below is always haunting you while you attempt to score.WOW. I have nothing bad to say about this so 5 star. Great job and super fun.
Simple, skill based ball handling.
