Acolyte started out as an attempt to create a sequel to Priestess, an older map of mine. I borrowed some of the architecture style and color palette from that map, with a totally new layout. I imagined it as another temple built by followers of the same religion, hence the name.

The map is composed of two bases and a courtyard with a large pillar / bridge structure. On one side is a cliff edge and some ruins where a SPNKR spawns and on the other edge is a hall with swords and statues near where Beam Rifle spawns. The center bridge leads in to red and blue bases and around a large pillar. The bases have 4 pathways out from the flag spawn points and a semi-hidden entrance.

The map was built to play well with Slayer, but with CTF and Assault as its main focus. It's a medium - large sized map, so it can handle 4v4 - 8v8 matches depending on how hectic you want it to be.

If you download the map and play a few games on it, please drop me a line and let me know what you think of it. Any feedback is appreciated and I love to hear tips for how to improve my designs. I will continue to update the map as I test and refine it.
