Through the end of the January ranking season in Halo 5 (about two weeks), the first Community Forge playlist is available in Halo 5 matchmaking. This first playlist features Breakout maps created by some familiar names. Starting on January 28th, you'll have the opportunity to vote for your favorites on HaloWaypoint. The most popular maps will then be integrated permanently into the main Breakout playlist. For now, though, let's see which maps are enjoyed most by the HaloCustoms community. Feel free to select multiple maps in the poll above and weigh in with your thoughts on these maps and Community Forge playlists in general below.

The one with the camo sucks. I don't know the name, but it's got a lot of green and I found the camo to be broken as hell. It's also a nade fest.

After playing my 10 qualifying games for this playlist, I can safely say "Fuck Highrise." Though the map does look pretty cool.

However, I still like Simulation and despite the simplicity of Epicenter, I still enjoyed playing it.

I definitely have to give credit to the author of Highrise for creativity, but the map definitely has some problems. While it isn't as oversegmented as Absolute or even Pylon, it does suffer from some vertical oversegmentation. All three of those maps would be better suited to a mode with actual respawns as they have several spaces which are extraneous in an elimination mode but would serve well as spawn areas. Highrise also has some pretty serious lighting issues due to its use of an Arena map as a canvas (no baked lights).
