    News Introducing HaloCustoms 2.0

Technically the website is a subdomain of halocustoms, but I get what you mean. We're working on a similar hook where you'll be able to see the running customs at a glance within the forum and some basic information about each. You'll still go to the new lobby experience when you click on a...

    News Introducing HaloCustoms 2.0

Any feedback as to how to improve that? I think in objective terms this experience is easier, but it definitely isn't as simple.

    News Introducing HaloCustoms 2.0

For the past several months, the staff members here at HaloCustoms have been hard at work, thinking up new ways to improve our user experience. For some time now, we've noticed the lobby system has needed a little bit of an overhaul, so it gives me great pleasure to finally be able to announce...

Halo Halo 2- truly the best?

The problem you're getting here is that you weren't around to play the earlier games, and now you're stuck without the 'metagame' that came with it. Halo 2 and 3 were *very* 'team' focused. That is to say, team positioning and communication were the main factors that made or broke teams. If you...

Halo [PRE H5 BETA] Halo 5 First Person Gameplay!

It's worth noting that H5 doesn't have ADS. It's the same as it's always been in Halo -- scoping in is sort of a fun visual way to 'concentrate' closer on things, but your shot doesn't get any more accurate. I also like that shields don't recharge until a few seconds after you stop running...

Halo Halo: The Master Chief Collection Bug Thread

As of last night, it looks like the matchmaking connection issues have been largely resolved. Personally, the 50 item limit is the killer bug (?) here. We *need* at least a couple hundred in order to make forge/custom games optimal, or at very least the ability to have 50 items per storage...

Bloody Turns out mp4 is not currently allowed as an extension. The following are the allowed extensions: txt pdf png jpg jpeg jpe gif The maximum size of an attachment is 10480KB = ~10.5MB. The maximum width of an image is 800 pixels. We can look into video uploading if the feature is in demand.

Suggestions, Ideas, Bugs, Comments, etc Thread

I think technically you might be able to upload mp4 files, actually, but they'll quickly hit the maximum file size. That's the issue with most video uploading that you'll come across. I believe just about all standard formats are uploadable, particularly text and picture formats due to the fact...

News Site Update (and Debate) 5/22/14

This. Turns out that the first game to fully use 3D free-look with a mouse was Bungie's Marathon in December of 1994; the mouse had been a concept since 1965 and became widely popularized with Apple's original Macintosh computer in 1984. Point is that changing the way we think about things...

    Halo Halo 5: Guardians Discussion

Back in the day, practically all games had AI on all maps, however the AI was exceptionally bad. If you opened up the maps in a map editor like GTK Radiant, you'd see that all it was was a bunch of "bot paths" (basically imagine railroad tracks, paths that bots follow to get from any point X to...
